Will Curt Q24 5th-Wheel Hitch Fit Reese Base Rails on 2016 Ram 3500

Question:

will the rails from my Reese Fifth wheel work on this unit as I hate to have to order extra ones if this will work for me?I have a 16,000 lb fifth wheel and want to make the move to a heaver one like this curt as it looks like a real nice unit. Thanks in advance for your answers.

The Curt Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16245 referenced in your question is compatible with B&W, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky and Reese above-bed base rails. As long as your existing rails are standard, above-bed base rails, you will not need to purchase new rails. The Curt Q24 should work great with what you already have installed on your Ram 3500.

The Curt Q24 is a great 5th-wheel hitch that features a nice 2-jaw locking system to provide a 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact. This will result in less rattle and more security at the attachment point. This system has a 4 inch height adjustment and a gross towing weight capacity of 24,000 pounds. If you do not have one already, I also recommend adding a 5th-Wheel Wiring Harness like the Curt # C56000. Once installed, this will provide a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck for easy hookup with your trailer.
