The Husky Center Line TS is a great weight distribution system at a good price point. It has built-in sway control using steel on steel friction. We offer four complete Husky Center Line TS systems:
# HT32218 for 1,200 pounds tongue weight
# HT32217 for 800 pounds tongue weight
# HT32216 for 600 pounds tongue weight with a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball
# HT32215 for 600 pounds tongue weight with a 2 inch hitch ball
The Center Line HD is more effective at sway control because it has a compression cylinder that actively pushes against any pressure that's applied to it. The installation and set-up is more involved, and the system itself is very heavy. We do not carry the HD.
The Equal-I-zer weight distribution systems also use steel on steel friction for sway control. In addition they have 4-point sway control with friction points at the brackets as well as at the hitch head. We off several options of Equal-I-zer weight distribution systems, such as # EQ37100ET rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight.
