Recommended Trailer Harness Bracket For 2015 Lexus RX 350

planning on the curt class 3 hitch for 2015 rx350 base w/ 118252 wiring. what holder would be best for wiring? 58001 or something else

The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13143 is confirmed as a fit for your 2015 RX 350. This hitch has a 2-inch receiver opening.

The # 118252 wiring harness will work well for you if your Lexus has a factory tow package. If you do not have the factory tow package you will need part # 118255.

There are a couple ways you can attach the 4-way trailer connector. You can use a bracket like part # 18144 which screws and nuts needed for installation.

You can go the no-drill route by using either part # 18140 or # C57202. These brackets include a hose clamp to use with your trailer hitch.

If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
