Can 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L Z71 Tow 6,300 lb Trailer
Question:
I recently purchased a camper with a weight of 6300pds. Will i be ok to tow this over any distance? I have a weght distribution hitch as well. Thanks!

I looked up the towing capacity of a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it has a capacity between 7,600 to 9,100 lbs depending on how equipped, so your 6,300 lb trailer would easily be towed by your truck.
The weight distribution system you have will also be a great choice to use. Any time over half of the towing capacity of a vehicle is being exceeded we recommend using a weight distribution system.
