Accessing Connection Points for Installing Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness on 2014 Kia Sportage

Great vids and instructions. For the 2014 Kia Sportage wiring harness job please identify the part name of the plastic cover just behind the rear bumper on the driver side thank you.

I believe you are referring to the trim panel behind the rear bumper that needs to be removed in order to access the connection points for installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118526 in your 2014 Kia Sportage. This center threshold trim piece along with the trim panel on the driver's side will be removed by loosening and removing the screws that hold them into place.
I have attached the installation video for you to check out. Once installed, you will have a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your Kia Sportage to power the trailer's signal lights.
