The Curt Weight Distribution System # 17300 is rated for 600 pounds of tongue weight. Your loaded trailer is likely in the range between 400 and 450 pounds tongue weight. You'll also want to add any weight stored behind the rear axle of your 2015 Toyota Tacoma.

As long as the gear behind your truck's rear axle and your trailer's loaded tongue weight isn't higher than 600 pounds the Curt system will work for your setup.

You also need a hitch ball with the Curt. For a 2 inch ball use # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch use # 19286.

If you'd rather a system that includes sway control you might prefer the Fastway # FA94-00-0600 which is also rated for 600 pounds. The correct hitch balls are # EQ91-00-6080 for the 2 inch or # EQ91-00-6100 for the 2-5/16 inch.
