Curt Trailer Wiring Harness Hot Lead Wire Installation On 2014 Volvo S60
Question:
Looking for some advice as to where to run the hot lead from the battery back to the trunk. I would think alongside any existing harnesses where ever they are. Any experience with that?

Helpful Expert Reply:
To run the hot lead wire to your battery from the trunk, I recommend running the wire under the car versus inside the cabin of your vehicle and then back out. You will use existing grommets where available and then follow other wires through the channel up the firewall and to your battery. I recommend using zip ties to secure the wire as needed. I recommend using the fuse near the battery for easy access.
I've attached an article to help.
