Can the Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier Hold More than 2 Kayaks
Question:
Can I use this for 3 kayaks or is 2 the max? These are the basic, flat sit on 10foot kayaks from Dunham. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Thule Stacker, # TH830, can be used with up to 4 kayaks with the addition of more straps to secure the kayaks to the carrier and to tie down the bows and sterns of the kayaks. The carrier comes with straps for 1 kayak so for a second and third I recommend adding # SR0704 (1 per additional kayak) and # Y04031 to tie down the bows and sterns of the additional kayaks.
Be sure to check the weight capacity of the roof rack and vehicle roof prior to loading. A tire step # ALL647596 is also a useful tool for safely reaching up to the roof.
