Trailer Wiring Harness for 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport
Question:
what about wiring to go with the hitch. ive had problems with wiring in the past doing after market hitches. do you know if theres a simple place to plug in 7 pin round wiring or does it really need to be wired

The trailer wiring harness kits we have for your 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport are all the 4-pole type and all of these aftermarket products require hardwiring. We do not have a plug-and-play 7-way option.
All are shown on the linked page and all will install in the same manner. I suggest Curt kit # C59236 for its higher output current capacity. A helpful installation article is linked for you.
You can convert this 4-pole connector type to a 7-way through installation of our # ETBC7 kit. Once installed this kit gives you a fully-functional 7-way complete with +12V trailer power and trailer brake circuits.
