Question:
What does N.c. on my brake control mean

When a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 flashes "N.C", this typically refers to a problem with the trailer connection. A few causes for this message to appear can be that the trailer is simply not connected to the tow vehicle or the trailer connector is corroded, preventing a secure connection. I recommend checking the trailer connector for any dirt or corrosion to see if this might be the issue. Once cleaned, this should clear the message and solve the issue.
The other possible cause is that the trailer is connected with an open circuit on the brake line. There may be an issue with the brake output circuit (or blue wire) between the brake controller and 7-way connector. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the circuit at different points to see if you find any loss of signal when applying the manual override on the controller.
