Recommended Electric Brake Controller for 2017 Ford Escape

We have a new 2017 Ford Escape with Factory Tow Package, but it only has a four pin plug. Id like to add an electronic brake controller, but you dont list any kits for a 2017 model year. Any recommendations?

I suggest the Prodigy P3 # 90195 for your 2017 Ford Escape. The P3 is one of the best controllers on the market because of its reliability and easy to use display.

It isn't listed as a fit for your Escape because there isn't a custom harness for a brake controller for your vehicle. To install the P3 you'll also need our # ETBC7 kit. This will provide your Escape with a 7-way trailer connector, as well as everything you need to install the P3.
