Recommended Wire Gauge for Brake Output and 12 Volt Accessory Circuit on Truck
Question:
I am rebuilding a 1972 chev truck. I am at the frame stage now. I want to run the wires for future electric brakes as it is easier to place the wires along the frame while the body is off. I was wondering what gauge of wires I should run for both the hot lead and the brake control wire. thanks.

You would want to go with 10 gauge wire like our part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) for both the brake output circuit and the 12 volt accessory circuit.
