Recommendations for Hitch to Use Bike Rack on 2011 Honda Accord 4 Door Sedan
Question:
Is one of these available now? It will be used for a bike rack only. Brand and Part Number if not 11002 would be useful This car is a 4 door sedan 2011 Honda Accord, NOT a crosstour! Please advise, thank you.

All of the hitches available for your 2011 Honda Accord 4-Door Sedan are a Class I 1-1/4 inch size. You will want to make sure the bike rack you use is designed to fit a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch. A Class I hitch will only accept Class I rated accessories. I am including a link to a FAQ page on hitch sizes and different class ratings. It will describe the difference in the Class I rated hitch.
The Curt Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 11002, you have mentioned will not fit your Accord. It is designed to fit the Accord Crosstour model.
To carry a hitch bike rack on your 2011 Honda I would recommend the Curt Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # C11496. This hitch does not include the ball mount, which is used for towing, so it would save you some money.
If you need a hitch bike rack to fit the above hitch I would recommend the Swagman XTC-2 Platform Style Bike Rack, part # S64670, or the Swagman Trailhead 2 Hanging Bike Rack, part # S63360. Both of these bike racks will fit your Class I hitch. These are two of our most popular 2 bike racks that we carry and they are two different designs to let you choose the style you like the best.
I am including links to video reviews on both of the bike racks.
