Is Tongue on Titan Replacement Shock Absorber # T2336200 Supposed to Return After Bleeding Brakes
Question:
T2336200 Is the shock absorber supposed to be pressurized? The last time I bled the brakes, when I pushed in on the tongue, it returned out on its own. This time when I bled the brakes I had to pull the tongue back out by hand. Is there supposed to be pressure in the shock that will force the tongue back out?

Expert Reply:
A shock absorber's tongue like on the Titan Replacement Shock Absorber for Titan Model 60 Brake Actuators # T2336200 referenced in your question will not normally return on its own after bleeding the brakes. Typically you will have to manually pull it back out. It's possible that it will sometimes slide back out slowly, like you had happen previously, but that is not an indication of it being pressurized or not.
