Does The Draw-Tite Hitch # 24913 Interfere With Jack Lift Point On 2017 Toyota Corolla XLE?
Question:
I have a 2017 Corolla XLE, and the factory rear jack lift point is centered under the rear of the vehicle, a little forward of the rear bumper. Will the Draw-tite hitch block or interfere with the factory rear lift point? If so, do you have recommendations on jacking up the rear of the Corolla? Thanks-

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2017 Toyota Corolla XLE, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24913 will not interfere with that rear jack lift point. I confirmed with the manufacturer and the online owners manual for your vehicle on page 518 that this hitch will not interfere. I've attached a video of this installation for your convenience as well.
If you will be towing with this hitch receiver, I recommend the Sportframe Drawbar 2-1/8" Rise or 2-3/4" Drop 2000 lb Kit # 3592. This will give you a 2-1/8 inch rise or a 2-3/4 inch drop. You will need a hitch ball like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch option or # 19258 for a 2 inch option.
For your wiring needs, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118405. This harness will connect with your factory wiring via quick connects and will be powered by your battery directly to preserve and protect your vehicle wiring. This will give you a 4-way flat connector for a trailer or other lighted accessory.
