We do offer a couple custom fit Class III trailer hitches confirmed to fit your 2017 Audi Q5.
I recommend the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # C13136 because of its easier installation process when compared to the Draw-Tite alternative # 75940. The Curt Hitch has a 750 pound tongue weight capacity and a 5,000 pound towing weight capacity. I recommend also checking your vehicle's weight capacities as listed in the owner's manual, as this will likely be the limiting factor. This hitch is custom fit for your Audi Q5, so no drilling will be required, however keep in mind that the exhaust must be temporarily lowered during installation. I have attached an installation video on a 2016 Audi Q5 for you to look at.
Also, per Curt warranty requirements, all non-trailer loads (bike racks, cargo carriers, etc) must be supported by stabilizing straps such as # 18050.
If you plan on doing any towing, I recommend adding the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT to install a 4 way connector on your vehicle. This will be needed to connect to and power your trailer's rear lights.
For towing you will also need a ball mount. I recommend looking at the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which includes two ball mounts with different rise and drops and two of the most common sized hitch balls. I have attached a link that will take you to our available ball mount selection as well as a helpful article that explains how to choose the correct one for your setup.
