Since your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel already has a factory 7-way wiring harness in place for towing you will need a hitch, ball mount and hitch ball. If your trailer has electric drum or electric-over-hydraulic brakes you will also need a trailer brakes controller.
For a hitch I suggest the 2-inch Class III hitch # 75713 from Draw-Tite. This hitch installs without drilling and it includes all the required hardware. An installation video is linked for you. With it I suggest our ball mount kit # 989900 which includes two ball mounts and two hitch balls for flexibility.
For a trailer brake controller I recommend the reliable and easy-to-use Prodigy P2 # 90885 and the matching plug-in wiring adapter # TK93VR. This will be a simple installation as shown in the linked video and the controller will work perfectly with both electric drum brakes and electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) trailer braking systems.
