Can Different Brand Shanks be Used with Most Weight Distribution Systems
Question:
My question is if all manufacturers use the same pattern of spacing and hole size for weight distribution shanks and heads?

Yes, almost all weight distribution manufacturers use the same dimensions between the shank holes which means that they can all use each others shanks if needed.
The Curt shanks are very popular replacements as they offer quite a bit of drop and their prices are pretty good. The part # C17123 is a very popular option.
