Fifth Wheel Hitch Rail Kit Recommendation for 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 5-1/2 ft Bed

I have a 2008 GMC crew cab 1500 with 5 1/2 foot bed. I ordered a curt 16k 5th wheel hitch and need to know if this kit will work with my truck?

Curt does not offer a fifth wheel rail kit fit for the 5-1/2 foot bed version of your 2008 GMC Sierra 1500. The good news is that Reese does and a Curt hitch would fit them just fine.
For that you would want the part # RP50064-58 which is a confirmed fit.
