If your new Jayco 5th wheel trailer has a Reese Revolution pivoting pin box installed (these are also known as Sidewinders) then you will NOT need a sliding hitch in your 2014 Ram 2500 Mega Cab. Short bed trucks towing 5th wheels need one or the other but not both. You will want to select a standard fixed 5th wheel hitch to use with your Revolution.
The Revolution actually offers MORE clearance than almost all slider hitches can, 22-inches. Most slider hitches give you from 10- to about 14-inches of travel.
You can use the linked page to select your bed length and configuration to then see 5th wheel installation kits and hitches for your truck. For instance, if you have an 8-foot bed without the factory rail kit you can use Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 along with base rail installation kit # C16427-204 and wiring harness # C56000. Keep in mind, to use this E16 Curt hitch with a sidewinder, you'll also need Sidewinder Wedge # C16991.
