Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2014 Honda CR-V with Naked Roof

Question:

I have a 2014 Honda CR-V and I want to install a rooftop carrier for my 90 pound 12 ft Kayak Emotion Spitfire 12 ft tandem. Which of your systems Thule, Rhino, etc would you recommend? Could you give me the link to your installation video for your recommended system. There is NO existing roof top carrier on my Honda. Thank You

For your 2014 Honda CR-V with a naked roof the Rhino Rack roof rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK284 would be what I recommend. This square bar rack has a 165 lb capacity and a better price than the Thule and Yakima racks yet has the same quality and fit as them so it's the rack I would use if I were in your shoes.

The Rhino Rack kayak carrier part # S512 then would be a great option as it has a 99 lb capacity. It can also fold down when not in use. You will need the square bar adapter kit part # KC-FK8 as well since the Rhino Rack has square bars with the euro channel.
