Will the Demco 13K HiJacker 5th Wheel Hitch Fit Reese Rails in a 2010 Toyota Tundra 5-1/2 Foot Bed
Question:
I am looking into the possibility of this particular hitch for my 2010 Toyota Tundra with the 5.5 foot bed and everything I find points to it working for me but I had a question about the mounting rail kit. The kit listed with the hitch on your website is part number DM8552020-71 and it looks like a universal kit for all makes and requires drilling into the frame but part number RP50084-58 Reese I assume is made to bolt up to my frame and only requires drilling through the bedif I read it correctly. Is the Reese kit you sell that is made to bolt up to my truck with no frame drilling compatable with the Demco hijacker DM8550040?

Expert Reply:
Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550040 will fit in the Reese rails in installation kit # RP50084-58 for your 2010 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 foot bed. The rails in both the Demco kit and Reese kit are what is called industry standard rails so they can accept any hitch that fits these rails including the HiJacker. There is no drilling into the frame required for the Reese custom kit. I have linked the instructions for you.
