Recommended Ffith Wheel Hitch For 2012 Chevrolet Silverado Short Bed
Question:
I have a gas 2012 chevy silverado short bed 2500 HD and am going to be towing a fifthwheel, I was wondering what slider hitch you would recomend, preferably one i wouldent have to drill my frame if possible. Thank you.

The fifth wheel hitch I recommend for your 2012 Silverado 2500 is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide, part # DM8550034. This hitch slides automatically so you do not have to manually operate a slider. It gives you an additional 14 inches of clearance for executing turns. It slides toward the tailgate when you make a turn and then returns when you straighten out.
The installation kit you need is part # DM8552011-71. This kit requires no drilling into the truck frame when installing.
If you need a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck I recommend part # 41157.
