TracRac Ladder Rack Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-150 For Swapping to Camper Shell
Question:
What is the height of the base rail. I need to figure out if I will be able to leave it on when i put my slide in camper in the bed. Thanks,

The base rails would have to come off of the TracRack # TA21000-02 on your 2017 Ford F-150 to allow you to install a camper shell.
A better option is going to be the part # TH27000XTB which is also a fit for your 2017 Ford F-150 but since the uprights attach directly to the bed rails it would be a bit easier to remove the setup when you have to install the camper shell.
