2013 Dodge Durango SXT without factory towing kit. Should I install a powered or un-powered wiring harness? Looks like both are available - ?

Powered kit will give you a safer harness that will protect the delicate taillight wiring of your Durango. The non-powered kit will be much easier to install but potentially could damage your vehicle wiring in the event of a short.
