Parts Needed to Install Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller on 2000 GMC Savana Van with 4-Way
Question:
Installing a brake controller on a 2000 GMC Savanah. It has a 4 way flat trailer connector. Looking at the Tekonsha TK90160. Appears I will need ETBC7 kit to connect the controller to the trailer. Anything I am missing? Thanks.

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 is a great proportional brake controller that will work well in your 2000 GMC Savana Van. It has an easy to read LED display and 3 boost levels that let you adjust initial braking power and aggressiveness. Since you already have a 4-way flat trailer connector, you are correct in that the only additional product you will need is the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This will include everything else necessary to install the brake controller and a 7-way trailer connector to your Savana Van.
I have attached the installation details for this wiring kit and a helpful article that details installing a brake controller from scratch.
