We carry a large selection of 5th wheel slider hitches that will fit your 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 with the Mega Cab. I will give you a few recommendations for you to review.
Curt has the A16 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider, # C16521, and the custom install kit for the Dodge Ram, # C16420-204. The A16 is rated 16K and will give a 12 inches of slider travel from front to back.
Curt also has the A20 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider, # C16541. You will use the same install kit # C16420-204. The A20 has a 20K capacity. Both Curt hitches have the 360-degree and 2-jaw locking head that provide a more secure king pin to hitch connection.
However, with the Curt hitches you will have to exit the vehicle every time you want to engage or disengage the slider when making your turns.
The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch, # DM8550037, and Installation Kit, # DM8551005, can eliminate the need of manually engaging the slider. This feature sets the Demco Hijacker Hitch above the traditional slider hitches. The Demco hitch has the Autoslide feature that will automatically give you 14 inches of travel front to back without ever leaving the comfort of your truck's cab.
The Demco hitch also has a 21K weight capacity and will install on your Dodge Ram using under bed installation kit. The Demco Hijacker uses a wraparound jaw and slider bar system that will secure the king pin in the head of the hitch which will minimize hitch rattle and chucking.
