We have a 2014 Ford Flex SEL Sport that has existing rails. We would like to add a rack to the rails for SURFBOARDS. What product do you suggest?

To carry Surfboards on your 2014 Ford Flex you'll first need a complete roof rack. I suggest the Thule WingBar Evo rack:

53 inch WingBars # TH711400 in silver or # TH711420 in black
Evo raised rail feet # TH710401

The bars are aerodynamic to reduce wind noise. This rack also has a 165 pound capacity and lifetime warranty.

Then to carry the boards the Thule # TH811XT will carry up to two boards and includes all the necessary tie-downs.

You actually will want to open the end of the crossbar like in the picture I attached and then slide the strip down the end of the crossbar. You would not want to try and press it in. Hope your thumb feels better!
