Recommended 5th Wheel Wiring Harness And Replacement Bumper 7-Way Connector For 2004 Ford F-250
Question:
Hi, I have a 2004 f250 and Im needing a 7way plug for a goose neck in the bed of the truck. On my truck the original wiring harness has the smaller grey plug for the bumper 7 way. Which kit do yall offer for that application? Also I would like a new 7way for the bumper with a grey connector so I can have a cleaner look instead of spliced wires going everywhere. Thanks

In your 2004 Ford F-250, I recommend the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug - GM, Ford, Ram, Toyota - 9' Long # 50-97-410.
To replace your current trailer connection at the bumper, I recommend the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 74682. This will be a very easy install that will give you the connection you need and offer you a 4 way or 7 way.
If the original 7 way is completly missing you will want to use the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 40167 for the bed of your truck. This is 10 foot long harness that includes the smaller grey plug as well as the round plug. This can be used in combination with the Bargman harness.
