I am buying a used 2004 Forest River Sierra 5th wheel. I am getting confused on what hitch to buy. I have a 2003 F250 short bed 7.3 diesel. What model do I need. Looking for the lightest 5th wheel hitch. Thanks

For your F-250's short bed, I recommend a sliding fifth wheel hitch like part # C16541. This hitch has a 20,000-lb capacity and features 12-inches of travel front to back. It weighs 230 lbs.
For the installation kit on your F-250 I recommend part # RP50082-58. This is a custom installation kit that takes half the time to install versus a universal kit.
