There are a few custom fit trailer hitches available for your 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4.
I recommend the Curt Class III # C13171 because the installation process is a bit easier as you do not need to lower the exhaust or trim the fascia on your vehicle like you do with the other models. This is a 2 inch hitch with a 5,000 pound towing and 750 pound tongue weight capacity, although you will want to check your vehicle owner's manual to see what you can safely pull. This is confirmed to fit your Jeep Cherokee Latitude and I have included an installation video for your review.
If you plan on doing any towing, you can use the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness # C56208 to install a 4-way trailer connector on your Jeep. The T-connector will plug directly into the existing wiring on your vehicle.
To tow a trailer you will also need a ball mount. I have included our ball mount selection as well as a helpful article that shows how to choose the correct one for your setup.
