Can Frequency Be Changed For Roadmaster Even Brake Supplemental Brake System
Question:
2011 Jeep, Grand Cherokee with keyless entry. When towing the Jeep using the Even-Brake unit, the frequency of the unit must be about the same as the key bobs [ remotes ] for the Jeep. I have had to replace both key bobs twice. How can I change the frequency on the Even-Brake unit ? Thanks for your help

There is a way to change the frequency of the Even Brake system, part # RM-9400. There are actually 4 frequencies that can be set.
My contact at Roadmaster said your system is probably set at ICX 1, so you can change the setting to a different setting. This is listed in the Programming Instructions which should have been included with your system.
