Will Reese 5th Wheel Hitch RP30081 Fit the Factory Prep Package in a 2017 Ford F-350  

Question:

I have an F-350 8foot bed which has the 5th Prep Kit already. This includes the under bed rails. This hitch should just bolt right up to that, correct? Truck has the wiring as well.

Reese 5th wheel trailer hitch # RP30928 is designed to fit in industry standard above the bed rails and will only fit the factory prep package in your 2017 Ford F-350 if you use adapter # RP30156.

For a 20K hitch that is nearly the same price and that will fit directly in the prep package without the need of an adapter I recommend the Curt 20K hitch # C16530-16017. This hitch also features a cushioned head for improved ride quality when towing. I have linked a video review of this hitch for you.
