Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2016 Subaru Forester and 2 Electric Bikes

What kind of rack do I need to buy to carry one may be two electric bikes Felt Versa on my Subaru Forester 2016

We have some great bike racks that will work with one or two electric bikes. First, if your 2016 Subaru Forester has a hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver the best option is the Thule EasyFold # TH903202. This rack is rated for 65 pounds per bike and has built in ramps to make loading the heavy electric bikes easier.

This rack will also fit a 2 inch hitch but if you do have a 2 inch hitch there is a second option; the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider for electric bikes # HLY84FR. This rack only fits 2 inch hitches, has a capacity of 80 pounds per bike, but doesn't have a ramp like the EasyFold.

It looks like there are several Felt Verza electric bike options. If your model weighs less than 65 pounds let me know its weight and there may be even more bike rack options that will work.

If your Forester does not already have a trailer hitch I recommend installing a Class III with a 2 inch receiver # 75876. The Class III hitch will be stronger than lower Class options so it will hold the bike rack and bikes safely and securely.
