Troubleshooting Prodigy P3 Electronic Brake Controller that Says Trailer Not Connected
Question:
Hi I bought the p3 controller and also the 3016 wire adapter plugged it in and it says trailer not connected did I miss something else I need to do I thought it was plug and play

The Prodigy P3 Electronic Brake Controller # 90195 is plug and play using the # 3016 harness.
If you have your trailer connected and it isn't reading it's possible you need to check some fuses or relays in your truck. Also, check the pins on the # 3016 to make sure none are bent and the connections are being made.
Another thing to check is make sure you 7-way trailer connector on both the truck and trailer are clean.
