2-Inch Class III Hitch for 2013 Audi Q5 2.0T
Question:
Good morning, Im looking to purchase a tow hitch for my 2013 Audi Q5 2.0T. I will only be using this to transport bikes. I have already purchased a Thule T2 Pro hitch bike rack in the 2inch hitch size. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The aftermarket trailer hitches made for your 2013 Audi Q5 2.0T are indeed the 2-inch size that will accept a 2-inch rack like the Thule T2 and both hitch options we have are shown on the linked page.
Both the USA-made Curt # C13136 and the Draw-Tite # 75940 have the same 750-lb tongue weight rating, but the Curt will require use of a stabilizing strap # 18050 for use with your bike rack. The Draw-Tite does NOT have this requirement but its installation will be more challenging.
So the choice between them is whether you prefer the freedom from having to use the strap or the easier installation. If you are doing it yourself then you might go for the Curt hitch. If you are paying an installer then both are good options. Install videos for both are linked.
Do note that when we installed the Curt hitch on a 2014 Q5 the position of the hitch was such that the hitch pin hole was 6-inches from the back edge of the car. This means that the T2 Pro will not clear the back of the car when it is folded up.
