Helpful Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster 1422-1 base plate it is for the 2005 Jeep Liberty and will not fit the Grand Cherokee. Nor should it be modified in anyway to fit.
The Roadmaster Falcon 5250 Tow Bar will work with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 1427-1
To power the Jeep's lights the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 includes the diodes, wiring, and connectors you'll need. I've linked the installation on a 2012 Grand Cherokee for you. To keep the Jeep from overriding the RV's wiring you'll also need a Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400.
For safety cables you can use # RM-643.
Another part you may need is a supplemental braking system. The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 is a favorite around here because of how reliable it is and it's easier to install than many other permanently installed systems. I've linked an install video of the DUO on a 2007 Grand Cherokee for you.
Finally, you'll likely need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop your setup requries. I've also linked our selection of adapters for you to look at once you know what you need.
In addition to my recommendations I've linked some articles on flat towing that you may find helpful.
