Do I Need to Trim The Rear Fascia of my 2010 Chevy HHR SS to Install the Draw-Tite #24756
Question:
the hitch says it will fit the ss model hhr. Is this done without cutting the rear bumper. I remember seeing once a while back modification to the bumper was required just wondering if this was still the case, thanks.

Yes, you will need to cut a 3 inch wide portion in the middle of the rear fascia all the way up to the first bend in the fascia to install this Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4 inch, part # 24756, on your 2010 Chevy HHR SS.
To the right there is a picture I took from the installation directions that shows where the trimming of the fascia will be.
I have also attached a link to the instructions below as well as a link to a video of the hitch being installed on a 2010 Chevy HHR for you to check out if you like also.
