Will the Curt 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness # C56000 Fit on a 2003 Chevy 2500 HD

I have a 2003 Chevy 2500HD with factory towing kit in place and want to add a kit like this for a truck camper. Is this the right kit? thank you

Yes, the Curt 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness, item # C56000, will install inline with the tow package wiring harness on your truck and the back of the factory connector at the rear bumper on your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD with towing package. I would recommend protecting the connections with some dielectric grease, item # 11755, for longevity.

Once the connectors are attached under the vehicle you will run the other end to where it is needed in the bed of the pickup and, after mounting the 7-Way connector in the bed, attach it to the 7-Way.

A 2 inch hole saw makes the in-bed installation go much easier, see video link.
