I have a 2016 ram 2500 with the gooseneck/5th wheel prep kit installed from factor is part #C60692 for gooseneck ball and safety hooks

For your 2016 Ram 2500 with factory installed Gooseneck/5th-Wheel prep kit, you will need the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops Kit, part # C60618.
The Curt # C60692 you referenced in your question is not compatible with the factory installed system on your 2016 Ram.
You also might be interested in a 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness such as the Curt # C56000. This will enable you to mount a 7-way RV-style connector in the bed of your truck for quick and simple hookup of your gooseneck trailer.
