Installation Of Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera On 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup
Question:
Hopkins 50002 for a dodge ram 2500 qaudcab 4x4 Will this hook directly to my truck or do I need a adapter.

If you have a factory 7-way trailer connector on the back of your 2005 Ram truck then you can just plug the harness for the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera, part # HM50002 inline with the truck 7-way.
If you do not have a factory 7-way on the rear of your truck, you will need to hardwire the Hopkins unit. I have attached a copy of the page that has the installation instructions you can check out. It is actually a pretty easy installation.
