Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness with Powered Converter for 2014 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Im towing a trailer manufactured in Germany that is wired with separate circuits for brake and turn signal lights. i.e., I dont think I need a converter. Do you sell the Tee breakout connectors for the vehicle tail light harness without buying the converter kit?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2014 Toyota Sienna uses a separate wiring system a circuit protected modulite is required to protect the van's wiring. That's why all the harnesses confirmed to fit your Sienna have the powered converter.
Out of the selection I suggest the Tekonsha # 118498. It does plug in behind the tail lights, like you said and will give you a 4-way trailer connector on your van. I've attached an install video for you to take a look at.
