Recommended Front Suspension Enhancement On 2009 Ram 2500 Cummins

Question:

I have a 2009 Ram 2500 Cummins 175,000 miles and have been considering putting Timbren front bump stops on to keep it from bottoming out so much. My question is how much will this raise my front end? I only have about 2 1/2inch clearance between my stock bump stock and the front axle. Is there another product I need to look at or will this one do? Thx!

If you have a working front suspension, the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TDDF974A shouldn't raise your front end but just keep it from bottoming out. It isn't intended to change the empty ride of your vehicle, but to engage as the factory suspension needs the additional support. They do act like shock absorbers getting more rigid as they compress to support the load. If you want to engage the spring sooner you can add a spacer if needed in 1 inch increments using # A25723-90AH00 or 1/2 inch increments using # TA25722-90P00 but you will have to supply the hardware when using a spacer.

If you have the 4 wheel drive model, I recommend using the # TDF25004B Timbren Springs. I've linked videos to both spring options for you.
