Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Ford F-250 with 2 inch Lift
Question:
I have a 2016 F 250 with 2inch lift kit with helper springs and Im upgrading my travel trailer to a fifth wheel camper. My truck is 4 door with 8 ft bed diesel. What model curt hitch I need and will it adjust to the height difference I need or there is and adjustment on the pin side of the camper. They are trying to sell me a $1400 hitch and Ill be new to this fifth wheel hitch stuff and looking to purchase your hitch and do the installation myself Thanks in advance

The Curt Q24 part # C16245 would be a great option for a fifth wheel for your truck. It can be adjusted lower than most hitches at 13 inches whereas most hitches can't go that low. This will be helpful for your truck since it has a lift kit.
There is also height adjustments that can be made on the pin box of the trailer to allow you to level the trailer. But you want to keep at least 6 inches between the bed rails and the overhang of the trailer.
For a rail kit you would want the part # C16424-204 that you referenced as well.
