Will Curt Trailer Hitch 14332 Fit a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Short Bed Step Side and Keep Spare
Question:
Will this hitch install on my stepside truck and can I leave the full size spare tire in place after the hitch is installed? Or do I have to leave the spare tire removed?

Yes, Curt trailer hitch # C14332 will fit your 2003 Chevy Silverado short bed step side. And the spare tire can stay in place with the hitch installed. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
I also recommend Weigh Safe ball mount # WS6-2 which has a built in tongue weight scale, a 2 inch ball, and a 2-5/16 inch ball.
