Parts Availability for Rebuilding Dexter 12-Inch Electric Drum Brakes on Dump Trailer
Question:
Do you have a parts kit with everything for this brake except the backing plate? I have a 1972 dump trailer with a bogie axle setup and it has 8 sets of brakes on it. This looks like the same setup as I have.

We do stock all types of replacement parts for electric drum brakes like the 12-inch Dexter 6K brakes # 23-105-09 (left) and # 23-106-09 (right). These items are not kitted together but you can see each item we have, from magnets to brake shoes to mounting hardware, on the linked page.
Often it actually costs less to replace an entire brake assembly than to replace almost all of the individual parts. So I linked our main page for complete electric drum trailer brakes in case you prefer to save the time of rebuilding the 8 brake assemblies you have on your dump trailer.
Always be sure to select a brake with the correct capacity for your axle rating, the appropriate mounting flange bolt pattern; and always select a matching left and right brake.
