Tekonsha Primus IQ Displaying Only A Single Dot When Trailer Is Not Connected
Question:
I have the Tekonska Primis brake controller installed on my Ford F150 for about a year. Up until a few days ago when there was no trailer connected the display on the controller showed n.c. The past few days it on shows a single red dot on the display with no trailer connected. What is wrong? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The single dot should show on your Tekonsha Pimus IQ # TK90160, when the brake controller has power with no trailer connected and the boost off. N.C. should show for 15 seconds and then change to what you are seeing. You may want to connect your trailer and see if it will show .c again. and make sure it is still working. My contact at Cequent suggested that the boost button may not be on any longer and if you hit that, there should be a second dot on the right.
If you have further questions, let me know.
