I'm not sure which wiring system you are referring to, but we do have a few options for your 2005 Kia Sportage. I recommend the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles with Separate Lighting, # 154-792-118158. This kit includes a the diodes to protect your wiring as well as give you a simple and clean installation. It also comes with the wiring to connect to your motorhome. Systems like this that use your vehicle wiring require a brake light relay # RM-88400 if used with a supplemental braking system.
Another option is to use the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - LED Bulb and Socket - Red, # BX88267. This system will bypass your current wiring and will require drilling into the tail light housing on your vehicle.
I've attached some videos to assist.
