Combo Bar Hitch Tube Recommendation for Installing Second Hitch Opening at Rear of RV

Question:

Hello. I have a 2006 Winnebago Outlook with the standard factory installed trailer hitch. I want to install - on the trailer hitch cross bar - a receiver hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier. I would put it off center on the trailer hitch. The tube on the hitch measures about 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. What do you think I can use to so this????

Sounds like you are wanting to install a second hitch opening on the cross tube of your Winnebago. We offer the combo bar part # E-9 for applications like this. You would have to weld on the hitch opening to your RV and you would have a second hitch tube. We don't have a bolt on application to fit a 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch cross tube.

You would have to use a RV approved bike rack like what is listed at the attached link.
