Trailer Hitch Receivers are custom fit for specific vehicles. I could not find a trailer hitch that would be capable of being installed on both a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country and a 2016 Toyota Highlander.

For your 2016 Toyota Highlander I recommend the Curt Class III # C13394. This is a Class III, 2 inch trailer hitches with generous tongue and towing weight capacities. I have provided an installation video link for this trailer hitches on a2015 Toyota Highlander.

This hitch would be perfect for carrying any hitch mounted accessories and if you are looking to tow at all, I would also recommend adding a ball mount kit, part # 989900. The kit comes with two ball mounts with differing rise and drops, as well as the two most common sized trailer hitch balls.
